Hugh R. Wilson  )           This Indenture made the Twenteth
     To         (           day of September in the year of Our Lord
Edward McCallum )           One Thousand Eight Hundred + Forty Seven
                            Between Hugh R. Wilson of the County of Robeson
+ state of North Carolina of the one part and Edward McCallum of the Said
State + County of the other part.  WitneSseth, that the said Hugh R. Wilson
for + in consideration of the sum of Sixty five Dollars to him in hand paid by
the said Edward McCallum the recipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
bargained sold and delivered + by these presents doth, bargain Sell
convey + deliver unto him the said Edward McCallum a certain tract
piece or parcel of land lying + being in the State + County aforesaid
On the South west side of Ashpole Swamp containing fifty acres adj=
=oining the lands of Arcd. D. McCormac, Jacob Alford + others, being part
of Ninety Thousand acre Survey granted to David Allison on the six=
=teenth of July 1795, all which piece or parcel of land I the said Hugh R.
Wilson for myself my heirs + aSsigns with all the apertainen as to the same 
belong=ing + privileges thereof doth sell convey + confirm unto him the said 
Edward McCallum his heirs + aSsigns to have to hold and poSseSs forever, free and
clear from any claim by me or any other person, claiming in by or through
me.  In Testimony whereof I the said Hugh R. Wilson have here unto set
my hand + seal the day + year above written.  Signed Sealed
