Civil War
Meredith Bullock, Private resided in Robeson County and was by occupation a 
farmer prior to enlisting in New Hanover County at age 37, September 12, 1863, 
for the war. Present or accounted for until wounded at Drewery's Bluff, 
Virginia, on or about May 13, 1863. Returned to duty to September 1, 1864. 
Present or accounted for through December 1864. Survived the war.

Additional Comments:
Meredith Bullock was born Jun 7, 1825 and died Apr 27, 1904, He married Maranza 
Ann Hedgepeth Jan 26, 1850. 
Meredith was the son of Lemuel Bullock born Nov 20, 1789 and died after 1850.
His mother is unknown at this time.
