Affidavit From Pension Application
North Carolina
Robeson County


Robert Dees, being by me duly sworn, says that he is personally aquatinted with 
Malcom Wilkerson, the applicant for pension, that he was in the Army with him 
(Wilkerson) in the same regiment (51st N.C.) but in different companies.  That 
said Wilkerson was in Co E while affiant was in Co F.  Affiant know of his own 
knowledge that said Wilkerson was wounded at Battery Wagner near Charleston in 
the state of South Carolina in 1863 in the month of July, from which wound he 
had to loose his leg amputated.   Affiant has no interest in this claim.
