Vets Of The 51st North Carolina Who Attended UCV Reunion In 1891
     A Confederate Veteran's Reunion at Camp Fowle, Wrightsville Sound, North 
Carolina was held in 1891.  In the Wilmington Weekly Star, July 31 and August 
7, 1891 a list of names of those veterans who attended are published.  

     From that list, there are 11 veterans listed who served in the 51st North 
Carolina Troops.  One of them, Pvt. Malcom Wilkerson of Company E, was from 
Robeson County. Here is the list of those from the 51st North Carolina:

Additional Comments:
Private Malcom Wilkerson was was wounded at Battery Wagner in 1863 where he 
lost a leg from a gunshot wound.
