        ROBESON COUNTY FAIR JUDGES NAMED
   At a meeting of the Robeson County Agricultural Society, held Oct. 28th 
1856, the Executive Committee appointed the following committees to pass upon 
articles and award premiums at the annual Fair to be held at Red Springs on 
the 19th and 20th of November next:
   1st Class, Livestock:  Horse, Mules, Jacks and Jennets -- DANIEL C. McNEILL 
(Richland Swamp), DOUGALD M. CURRIE and WILLIAM C. McNEILL (Bear Swamp)
   2nd Class Cattle, Hogs, Sheep and Goats -- DANIEL C. McNEILL, DANIEL P. 
McNAIR, and WM. H. BROWN
   3rd Class, Poultry --JAMES A. SMITH, PETER P. SMITH, and HUGH BROWN
   Salt Provisions, Dairy, Food Condiments, Etc. -- COL. N. A. McLEAN, ARCH'D 
SMITH, DANIEL McCOLLUM
   Horticulture -- MALCOLM PURCELL, DAN'L S. MORRISON, ALEXANDER McMILLAN
   Household Fabricks, Needlework, Flowers, Painting -- JOHN McInnis, SIMEON 
P. McNEILL, CALVIN BLACK and JOHN P. SMITH
   Agricultural Products -- ALEX PURCELL, TRISTON BETHEN, JOHN C. CAMPBELL
   Mechanics -- ALLEN McCORMICK, DUNCAN McKAY, JOHN B. CLARK
   Miscellaneous Articles -- DR. DAVID McARTHUR, NEILL A. CLARK, S. C. RAY
   Marshals -- COL A. McMILLAN and HECTOR McNEILL
   The annual address will be delivered on the 20th November by COL. N. A. 
McLEAN. The Fayetteville Editors are respectfuly invited to attend -- to whom 
free tickets will be given.
