Biggs-Boles Funeral Home, Lumberton, NC
LUMBERTON — Mrs. Mary Ellen Sessoms Alexander of 432 Wagon Loop Road,
Lumberton, was born to the late Carl Sessoms and Mary Pittman Sessoms
on Sunday, Nov. 18, 1928, in Robeson County and was born into eternity
on Oct. 1, 2016, at Golden Living Assisted Living in Lumberton,
completing her journey of 87 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother
Carl P. Sessoms. Mrs. Alexander was a lifelong member of Zion Hill
Baptist Church in Lumberton, where she was also an active member of
the WMU.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 55 years, Ralph
O. Alexanders; two sons: Terry R. Alexander of New York, N.Y., and
Charles Alexander and his wife Pam of Lumberton; three grandchildren,
Jessica Spillman and her husband James, Kelli Alexander and her
companion for life Charles Fagan II and Luke Alexander.

The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Boles-Biggs Funeral
Home in Lumberton

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church
in Lumberton. Burial will follow in the Sessoms family cemetery.
