B. Broadwell, at the National cotton mills, with whom she was living at the time of her death. The funeral services were conducted Saturday at 11 a. m. by the pastor of Cedar Grove church of which deceased has been long a consistent member and interment was made in the Flowers cemetery near the church. She was 77 years of age and leaves to mourn her departure two daughters, Madams L. B. Broadwell of the National cotton mill, and N. M. Allen of route 5 from Lumberton, and two sisters, Madams Margaret Phillips of Boardman and Jim Walters of Barnesvilles, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Verily a good woman has gone to her heavenly reward. The bereaved have our sympathy. J. M. Fleming.
