MISS MARY E. BARKER CLAIMED BY DEATH 

Miss Mary Elizabeth Barker, 46, of St. Pauls died in a Lumberton hospital Sunday
at 7 p.m. an hour after being taken there while in a very critical condition.
  
Funeral services will be conducted from the Barker home near St. Pauls at 4 p.m.
today by Rev. C.R. Hester, pastor of Great Marsh Baptist church, and interment
will be in the church cemetery.
 
Surviving are her father, Mr. M.J. Barker: 4 sisters - Mesdames W.D. Watson and
H.J. McRae of St. Pauls, Ed Humphrey of Shannon, Rt. 1, L.C. Davis of
Bladenboro; 2 brothers - Messrs. W.D. and A.H. Barker, both of St. Pauls.
