DEATH AND FUNERALS - MRS. W. B. BARKER

Mrs. W.B. Barker, 72, of St. Pauls, died last night in a Lumberton hospital
following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon
at 3:30 at Great Marsh Church. The pastor, Rev. M.F. Mills, will conduct
services and will be assisted by Rev. A.P. Stephens and Rev. W. Earl Robinson. 
Surviving Mrs. Barker are her husband; a son, David Barker of Lumberton; two
sisters, Mrs. H.H. Hale of Pomona, Fla., and Mrs. W.L. Malpass of Montague; four
brothers, J.H. Ratley of St. Pauls, G.D. Ratley of Red Springs, D. J. Ratley of
Florence, S.C., and E.R. Ratley of Norfolk, Va.; one grandson, J.B. Barker, Jr.,
who is stationed at Ft. Lee, Va.
