A.H. BARKER PASSES HERE – BY MRS. WM. E. MACMILLAN

St. Pauls, Oct. 22 – Austin H. Barker, 60, died yesterday afternoon at 5 o’clock
in a Lumberton hospital following several week’s illness. A son of the late M.J.
and Sarah Carlyle Barker, Mr. Barker was never married. 
Survivors are one brother, W.B. Barker, St. Pauls; four sisters, Mrs. W.D.
Watson and Mrs. H.J. McRae, St. Pauls; Mrs. Ed Humphrey, Saddletree; and Mrs.
Seth Lewis, Bladenboro.

Funeral services are to be held Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Great Marsh
Baptist church. Rev. W. Earl Robinson, pastor of the St. Pauls Baptist church
will officiate assisted by Rev. C.R. Hester, pastor of the Great Marsh church.
Burial will be in Great Marsh cemetery.
