Mr. John Byrd.
 
   Mr. John Byrd, aged 80 years, died
Thursday afternoon at his home in
East Lumberton.  Deceased is sur-
vived by several children.  The fun-
eral was conducted from the home Fri-
day at 2 p. m. by Rev. L. E. Dailey,
pastor of East Lumberton Baptist
church, and interment was made in
the family burying plot at Long
Branch.
