Fairmont

Jessie Eddie Britt, 81, of 2185 Progressive Farm Road, died March 17, 2008, at 
Southeastern Hospice House.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Bloomingdale Baptist Church, the Revs. 
Tommy Fields, Ronald Cook and Ronald Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in 
the Fairmont Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Johnson Britt; and his parents, 
Kelly and Cella Britt.

Surviving are a son, Johnny Britt and his wife Wendy, both of Fairmont; two 
sisters, Ellaree Jackson of Georgia, and Peggy Walters of Rennert; six 
brothers, Leslie Britt of Georgia, Buddy Britt of Evergreen, Harold Britt, Jay 
Britt and Wayne Britt, all of Rennert, and Bert Britt of Ohio; and six special 
nieces, Nancy Grimsley, Mechelle Combs, Linda Holland, Julia Haigler, Monica 
Newsome and Mandy Lewis.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Floyd Funeral Services 
in Fairmont, and other times at the home, 2185 Progressive Farm Road.

Jesse Eddie Britt was born May 6, 1926 and died Mar 17 2008.
He was the son of Archie Kelly Britt and Priscella "Cilla" Britt.
He was married to Myrtle Johnson.
