LOT BRITT 

  Mr. Lot Britt departed this life Saturday, May 8, at 8 p. m.  He had been 
sick for many years with something like epilepsy.  The remains were laid to 
rest at the Ward cemetery Sunday afternoon, the services being conducted by 
his pastor, Rev. M. A. Stephens.  Mr. Britt was a member of the Baptist church 
at this place and was a good man.  He always attended prayer-meetings and 
Sunday-school as long as he could.  He leaves a wife, a father, and five 
brothers and two sisters to mourn his death.
