V. Britt Funeral from Home and Interment in Family Cemetery Funeral services were conducted from his home near McDonald at 10 a.m. today for Mr. Z.V. Britt, 75, who died suddenly Wednesday about noon. Mr. Britt suffered a light stroke last fall and had been in poor health since that time but was up and about his duties on the day of his death. Services were in charge of Rev. I. P. Hedgpeth of Lumberton. Interment was made in the family cemetery near the home. Pallbearers were: active--Messrs. Furman Price, T.S. Greyard, W.S. Alexander, Whit Stone, E.W. Stone and D.H. Britt Jr.; honorary--Messrs. Frank Townsend, Sandy McMillan, A.L. Hall, D.A. McCormick, Spurgeon McLean, L. Williamnson, Joel and Andrew Ivey. Mr. Britt was a member of McDonald Baptist Church. Surviving are his widow, 6 sons, 3 daughters. He was a brother of Mrs. Henrietta Parnell of Parkton and Mr. D.H. Britt of Back Swamp section. Additional Comments: Zellvestor Britt was born May 28, 1855 and died July 1, 1931. He was the son of John Britt and Rosannah Stone. He married Anna Belle Walters on April 8, 1891. Anna Belle Was the daughter of Fleetwood Walters and Anzie Britt.
