Brumbles Fairmont--On Wednesdany afternoon in the Stephens and Prevatte Funeral home funeral services were held for Mrs. Maggie Walters Brumbles, 67, who had died on Tuesday in Thompson hospital with pneumonia, but suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, which was the cause of death. Rev. E. P. Lockamy conducted the last rites, and burial was in a family cemetery near Bloomingdale. Mrs. Brumbles was the daughter of the late William and Nellie Byrd Walters and the widow of Raleigh Brumbles who died 10 years ago of the Bloomingdale section. She is survived by the following sons and daughters: Bill, Quentin, and Hoyle, all of the Orrum section, Mrs. J. D. Lewis Jr., Mrs. Beatrice Bass and Mrs. O. R. Edgar, all of Mullins, S.C. Also surviving are two brothers Lonnie Walters of Norfolk, Va.; and J. T. Walters of Mullins, S.C.; and two sisters, Mrs. Joel Stone of Rowland and Mrs. Will Ivey of Barnesville. Additional Comments: Ida Maggie Brumbles was born May 1, 1880 and died Mar 9, 1948. On August 12, 1900 she married Raleigh Brumbles. He was born Feb 1858 and died about 1938.
