Billy Winford Brumbles, 90, of 98 Elba St., died Monday at his home.The funeral 
will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Floyd Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Henry Bruce 
officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.Surviving are his 
wife Bertha Brumbles, of the home; a son, Raven Gene Brumbles and his wife 
Betty, both of Lumberton; two daughters, Margaret Cox and her husband Dallas, 
both of Dunn, and Mamie Evans and her husband Elton, both of Lumberton; two 
sisters, Mary Stone of Lumberton and Elna Mae Bass of Mullins, S.C.; six 
grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 7 
to 9 tonight at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory.Memorials may be made to Berea 
Baptist Church, 3050 Elizabethtown Road, Lumberton, N.C. 28358.Read more: The
