Robesonian Monday 7/19/1915
Mrs. Mary E. Bryant, 103 Years Old.

   Mrs. Mary E. Bryant, widow of
the late James Bryant, died at her
home near Lumberton Friday morn-
ing at 6 o’clock of paralysis.  The
funeral was conducted Saturday
morning from the home at 10 o’clock
by Rev. Wm. B. Combs, pastor of
the Gospel Tabernacle.  Interment
was made in the Gunn cemetery near
Lumberton.  Deceased is survived
by two daughters – Mrs. A. R. Pre-
vatt of Lumberton and Mrs. F. E.
Bridgeman of Pensecola, Fla.
   Deceased had lived to the ripe age
of 103 years and had always en-
joyed good health until some time
ago when her health failed her.  She
suffered a stroke of paralysis Mon-
day night from which she never re-
covered.
