Robesonian Tues 1/19/1904
A Homicide.
 
   Last Wednesday County Cor-
oner Ed McRae was called to the
Croatan section near Red Banks
to investigate the cause of the
death of Artemus Buie, says the
Scottish Chief.  A jury was sum-
monded, sworn and empaneled,
who after a full investigation of
all evidence, rendered their verdict
that Artemus Buie same to his
death from a gun shot wound at
the hands of James Blue.  Blue is
a cousin to the noted outlaws by
that name who were killed at
Heffman only a few weeks ago. 
The shooting was done on Sunday
previous to his death, and with
slight or no provocation.
