Ms. Hazel Byrd age 92, of Fairmont, passed away Monday, August 30,
2016 at her home.

A service will be held Thursday September 1, 2016 at First Baptist
Church in Fairmont at 11:00 AM with Rev. Sean Gallagher officiating.

A visitation will be held Wednesday August 31, 2016 from 7:00-9:00 PM
at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

She was born April 28, 1924 in Robeson County. She was a member of the
First Baptist Church in Fairmont. She retired from United Carolina
Bank.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roscoe Byrd Sr.; three
brothers, Stanley West, Charles West, and Ervin West; two sisters,
Lizzie Grey McLean and Retha Lee McLean.

Ms. Byrd is survived by one son, Roscoe Byrd, Jr. of Fairmont; and two
daughters, Nancy Byrd of Fayetteville and Katie Byrd of Lumberton; and
a special friend, Iola Moore.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church P.O.
Box 663 Fairmont, NC 28340.
