At 2:30 on Monday afternoon a funeral service was held at Broad Ridge Baptist church with Rev. Joel S. Johnson of Fairmont, officiating. Burial followed in the Fairmont cemetery. Deceased was the son of Walter Faulk and the late Mrs. Chat Faulk. Besides his father he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Calvin Flowers, of the Broad Ridge community; 5 brothers, Boyd and Wilton Faulk of Chadbourn; Rudolph and W. G. Faulk of Fairmont; Aubrey Faulk of Cheraw, S.C. In charge of the flowers where Mrs. Crosby Floyd, assisted by Mmes. Edison Lawson, Alex Flowers, Norman Walters, Leon Britt, Avery Nye, John Faulk, D. Collins, and Miss Natha Lawson. Serving as pallbearers were W. Britt, W.J. Sealey, Wilton Sealey, Alex Flowers, Bright Granger and Clyde McCormick. Additional Comments: Oberry Faulk was born in 1910 and died March 15, 1947. He was the son of Walters Frank Faulk born Mar 7, 1886 died Jan 1, 1974 and Charity Faulk born Feb 25, 1889 and died Mar 27, 1925. He is buried in Fairmont Cemetery, Fairmont, NC.
