Marvin Faulk Sr

   Fairmont -- Marvin Faulk Sr., of Rt. 2, Fairmont, a retired farmer, died 
Sunday. Graveside services will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at Fairmont Cemetery 
with the Rev. N. B. Hill officiating.
   He is survived by one son, Marvin Faulk Jr. of Rt. 2, two grandsons; and one 
great granddaughter.
   Pallbearers are Jack Collins, Larry Grimsley, Wyves Grantham, R.C. Faulk, 
W.G. Faulk and Sandy Faulk.
   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the North Carolina Cancer 
Institute.

Marvin Faulk Sr. was born Oct 24, 1896 and died Apr 23, 1978. 
He married Pearl Grantham on Mar 26, 1922.
He was the son of William Haywood Faulk born Mar 18, 1857 died Apr 28, 1926 and 
Sarah Andrews born Apr 5, 1857 and died Sep 26, 1904.
