Mary Fulmore, (daughter of John C. Fulmore of Williamburg District, S.C.) aged 13 years and a few days. She was sent to this village sometime since for the purpose of improving her education, and while engaged in her studies was seriously attacked with the disease that terminated her exitence; the cause was protracted and painful in the extreme, but she bore it with that patience, calmness, fortitude, and hope that soothes and tranquilizes the mind and feelings of new born souls to the will of their heavenly father. She professed that change and renovation of heart experienced by those who have an interest in the Saviour, of which she gave the most indubitable evidence, on her dying bed. Much more might be said in praise of this amiable young Lady, but the pen of Eulogy would fail in portraying her worth. She was most beloved by those who knew her best.
