The Robesonian, January 11, 1976


James Luther Hall, 76, of Lumberton died Thursday at 3 p.m. in Southeastern 
General Hospital following a short illness. Funeral services were held 
Saturday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. Burial was in Meadowbrook 
Cemetery. 

Pallbearers were: Bobby Bollinger, John Grantham, Don James, Eddie Heibner, 
Roger Williamson and Howard Coyle. 

Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Ruth Davis Hall; six daughters. Sarah 
Catherine Hall of the home, Mrs. Elizabeth Dillman and Mrs. Frances Zimmerman 
of University Park, Md., Mrs. Betty Williamson, Mrs. Mary Musselwhite and Mrs. 
Carolyn Ward, all of Lumberton; two  sons, James E. Halt of Lumberton and 
Charles F. Hall of Southern Pines; 13 grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren.
