Mrs. Janie Hammonds Died Suddeenly
   Last Night at Home of Mr. W. W.
   Singletary – Funeral This After-
   noon
 
   Mrs. Janie Hammonds, aged about
70 years, died suddenly last night
about 11:30 at the home of her broth-
er, Mr. W. W. Singletary, East Fifth
street, with whom she lived.  Deceased
complained of not feeling well a
short time before her death, but her
death came as a surprise.
   The funeral will be conducted from
the residence at 4 o’clock this af-
ternoon by Rev. Dr. Chas. H. Dur-
ham, pastor of the First Baptist
church, and interment will be made
in Hollywood cemetery.

and Amelia Byrd Singletary, married Henry E. Haman, divorced.
