LAURINBURG – Charles Hamilton Hatcher, 90, of Second Street, East Laurinburg, 
died Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at two o’clock Saturday 
afternoon at Butler Funeral Service, Laurinburg. At four o’clock Sunday 
afternoon there will be a graveside service at Sunset Hill Cemetery in 
Valdosta, Ga.  

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rachel Hatcher; one son, William F. Hardin, 
El Paso, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Bray, Mrs. Mildred Ferguson, and 
Mrs. Willie Bell Tonny, all of Georgia; one brother, T.C. Hatcher, McColl, 
S.C.; one sister, Mrs. Martha Johnson, Florida; seven grandchildren; six great-
grandchildren.
