Mr. Daniel M. Hill Dies Suddenly

   Marietta, March 24--On Wednesday of last week at 7 o'clock a.m. Mr. Daniel 
M. Hill of this place departed this life in the very bloom of manhood. He was 
in good health and did a hard day's work Tuesday. He ate a hearty supper and 
retired and immediately his sister was called by him. It was seen by her that 
his condition was serious. Dr. W.W. Early was called and he gave medical 
attention at once. It was deemed wise by his mother to call Dr. V.E. Lester of 
Page's Mill but he was beyond medical aid. The attending physicians pronounced 
the trouble acute indigestion. He was about 26 years of age and leaves a mother 
and five sisters, and two brothers and a host of friends and relatives to mourn 
their loss. His father preceded him to the grave about 10 years ago. The 
interment was mad in the Mt. Olivet cemetery Thursday p.m. and the funeral was 
conducted by Rev. M.T. Moyle of Fairmont.

Additional Comments:
Daniel Hill was born about 1887 and died March 27, 1913 at Marietta in Robeson 
County. His parents are not known at this time.
