Death of Mrs. Mary Howell.
 
   Mrs. Mary Jane Howell, wife of Rabe Howell, died at her home in Robeson county,
Sunday 
morning, the 28th, after an illness of several days with measles.  The burial took
place Monday 
after in the new cemetery on Elizabeth Road, near Smiths Bridge.  A large crowd of
sorrowing 
friends were present.  Mrs. Howell was 58 years of age and is survived by eleven
children.
