Funeral services were conducted for the home Friday afternoon at 3:30 by Rev. I. P. Hedgpeth, and interment was made in the family cemetery. Mr. Ivey was a member of Big Branch Baptist Church. Mr. Ivey is survived by one brother, Mr. Jacob Ivey of Proctorville; 5 sons – Messrs. Wesley, Furman, Pearl and Henry of Roberson County – and by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Shaw of Evergreen.
