Rites for Mrs. Jackson

   Funeral services were held over the remains of Mrs. Gerald Jackson of the 
Centenary section on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the home of her pastor, Rev. 
I.T. Newton of Chadbourn. Death came Friday from angina pectoris. She had been 
ill for some time. Interment took place in the Mt. Zion Baptist church 
cemetery. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Arnette of Marietta.
   She is survived by her husband and 9 children: Mr. Grady of Rowland, Mr. 
G.B. of Barnesville, Mrs. Carl Bullock of Fairmont rfd, Thomas, Nora Lee, 
Martha, Dora Belle, Marie and Frank, all of the homestead; 4 sisters, Mrs. Dan 
Floyd of Lumberton, Mrs. S.B. Huggins of Dillon, S.C., Mrs. Henry Sanderson, 
Lake View, S.C., Mrs. R.A. Bailey of Nichols, S.C.; one brother Mr. Sam Arnette 
of Marietta. Nieces of the deceased were flower girls at the funeral, nephews 
were pallbearers.

Ella Elizabeth Arnette was born Sep 25, 1879 and died Apr 6, 1934.
She was married to Gerald Bruce Jackson.
She was the daughter of John T Arnette and Martha Phillips Arnette.
