Death of Mr. Elias Jenkins
 
Correspondence of The Robesonian.
   Fairmont, Aug. 18. – In the death of Elias Jenkins, Esq., this community loses 
one of its best citizens, who was greatly beloved by a large family circle.  He 
died suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Dougald McIntyre, though he had 
not been in good health for several months.  He was buried from the Baptist 
church, of which he was a faithful member, this afternoon, the funeral services 
being conducted by his pastor, Rev. D. P. Bridges.
