Mrs. N. W. Jenkins

   Fairmont -- Mrs. Nazareth Whiting Jenkins, 85, widow of the late Mr. 
Jenkins, died at her home in Fairmont this morning at 5:30, after an illness of 
four years.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Warren Lewis of 
Fairmont.
   Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the 
First Baptist church of Fairmont, of which she was a member, by the pastor, 
Rev. Thomas L. Rich.  Interment will follow in the Fairmont cemetery.
   Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Nettie Davis of the home, Miss Emily 
Jenkins of Durham, Mrs. Fred Williams, of Fairmont, and Mrs Alfred Cole of 
Raeford.

Additional Comments:
Sarah Emma Lewis was born Aug 24, 1875 and died Jan 14, 1960. 
On Jul 28, 1900 she married Nazareth Wihten Jenkins, he was born Aug 11, 1869 
and died Oct 29, 1929.
She was the daughter of Warren Arris Lewis and Nancy Isbelle Townsend.
