Robeson County, NC - Obituary of Nemphia Floyd Johnson, 1956 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mrs. Kelly Johnson Mrs. Kelly Johnson, age 82, of Barnesville, died at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday following several years of declining health. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs Millard Floyd. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Bethesda Methodist church, and interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the at 2 p.m. The service will be conducted by Rev. Grady Kinley, pastor. Mrs Johnson is survived by four sons, E. O. Johnson of the home, D. S. Johnson of Raleigh, Kelly Johnson of Myrtle Beach, S. C., and A. S. Johnson of Greensboro; four daughters, Miss Alma Johnson of Albemarle, Mrs. L. S. Thompson of Ceder Town, Ga., Mrs. George Nowitzky of Norfolk Va., and Mrs. Calude Casey of Greensboro; two sisters, Mrs. Stephen Epps of Fort Mill, S. C. and Mrs. Hattie Johnson of Whiteville; one brother, Don of Lumberton: and 16 grandchildren. From the contributor: Nemphia Mae Floyd was born Jan 22, 1874 and died Nov 7, 1956. She married Kelly Johnson Oct 29, 1891. She was the daughter of Millard Floyd born Oct 26, 1853 died Jan 30, 1918 and Harriet Ann "Hattie" Hardin born Apr 7, 1849 and died Jul 24, 1927.
