John Ashley Leggett

   Funeral services for John Ashley Leggett, 66, who died Saturday at 7:30 
a.m., were held from the home near Tar Heel Sunday afternoon.  Interment was in 
the family cemetery.
   A native Robesonian, Mr. Leggett had lived as a farmer in this section for a 
number of years and was a son of the late William and Clarisy Leggett.

Additional Comments:
John Ashley Leggett was born about 1866 in Robeson County and died Oct 3, 1942.
He was the son of William Leggett born May 25, 1839 died Apr 17, 1887 and 
Clarisa Jenkins born Jul 17, 1843 and died Sep 8, 1909.
