Henry Jake Leggett Claimed by Death

   Fairmont, April 12---Henry Jake Leggett, 60, of Fairmont route 2, died 
Thursday at 1:30 a. m. in Baker sanatorium, where he was carried last week from 
his home with double pneumonia.  Complications also contributed to his death.
   Funeral servicese will be conducted from the home (today) Friday at 3 p.m. 
and interment made in the family cemetery near the home.
   Surviving are four daughters---Mrs. Gurney McDaniel of Fairmont, Mrs. 
McKinnon Barnes of Barnesville, Misses. Ella Mae and Jennie Rose of the home 
place; and 6 sons---Wade Leggett of Fairmont, Ralph of Fort Bragg, Leo, Wilbur, 
Ricks, and Bracey of the home: 2 brothers, Mark Leggett of Fairmont and John 
Leggett of Elizabethtown. His wife died 2 years ago.

Additional Comments:
Henry Jake Leggett was born Nov 7, 1879 and died Apr 11, 1940. He was married 
to Ella Barnes. She was born Feb 19, 1889 and Died Feb 3, 1938.
Henry Jake Leggett was the son of William Leggett born May 25, 1839 died Apr 
17, 1887 and Clarissa Jenkins born Jul 17, 1843 and died Sep 8, 1909.
Henry Jake Leggett and Clarissa are buried on the Leggett Rd near Barnesville, 
NC in the Family Cemetery.
