Funeral For Mark Leggett Thursday

   Fairmont -- Mark Leggett, 66, died Tuesday night at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. Bill Johnson, Chadbourn, Route 2, where he had resided during 
his sickness of the past year.  He was born in the Barnesville section, a son 
of the late William Leggett and Clarissa Jenkins Leggett of this county.  He 
had spent his life within a few miles of his birthplace.
   The survivors are four sons and two daughters; Clater, Alex, and Elton 
Leggett, all of Orrum; Mrs. C. Resser Smith, Fairmont; and Mrs. Johnson , 
Chadbourn.
   The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Stephens and 
Prevatte funeral home, Fairmont.  Burial will follow in the Fairmont Cemetery.

William Marcus Leggett (Mark) was born May 27, 1883 and died Nov 15, 1949.
He married Nov 22, 1905 to Clelia Jane Sealey.
She was born Sep 16, 1888 and died Jul 3, 1942.
Mark Legget was the son of William Leggett born May 25, 1839 died Apr 17, 1887 
and Clarissa Jenkins born Jul 17, 1843 and died Sep 8, 1909.
