Raeford Lewis

Funeral services for Raeford Lewis, 87, a retired farmer who died Saturday 
in Southeastern General Hospital, were held Monday at 2 p.m. from Stephens 
Funeral Home by the Rev. Ertle Britt and the Rev. Lacy Woods.
Burial will be in the Gunn Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs Blanche Blackwell Lewis; three daughters, Mrs 
Pansie Norris and Mrs Leola Lovette of Rt 4, Lumberton, and Mrs Rosie Ward 
of Laurinburg; two sons Reston and Rowland Lewis of Rt 4, Lumberton. 19 
grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were K. W. Smith, L. C. Ward, Charlie Smith, Billy Smith, Billy 
Ward, and Kenneth Freeman. Flowers were in the care of Miss Daisy Allen and 
Mmes. Pearl Benton, Zelma Hackett, Lacy Lewis, Carolyn Smith and Alton 
Smith.


Additional Comments:
Son of Robert and Caroline Wilton Lewis. 
Raeford married Blanche Blackwell on February 1, 1914.
