Mrs. Nancy Pitman of R. 2. Fairmont.

   Lumberton, Jan. 15--A good woman in the person of Mrs Nancy Pitman of R. 2 
from Fairmont went away Friday.  It was our privilege at one time to be the 
pastor of her church for eight years. She was true and faithful. Unless there 
was sickness in the family, she never missed a service and when visiting her 
home she was a real mother to us. To bereaved loved ones our heart's tenderest 
symmpathies are extended.

Nancy Lewis Pitman was born Jun 9, 1852 Robeson County, NC and died Jan 12, 
1917 Robeson County. She was the daughter of Dawson Lewis born May 27, 1817 
died Apr 3, 1884 and Annie Eliza Jenkins born Oct 15, 1825 died Mar 28, 1893.
Nancy married John Pitman born Jun 16, 1845 died May 17, 1907.
