North Carolina Presbyterian 12/8/1892
   On the 19th of November at his residence,
near Lumber Bridge, Maj. C. LITTLE, a
ruling elder of Lumber Bridge church, in the
64th year of his age.
   Bro. Little was genial and generous man,
and exemplary citizen and charitable neigh-
bor; possessing to a rare degree an amiable
disposition and a cheerful mood, he was as
husband and father the light and joy of his
happy home.  As a Christian and an official
of the church he enjoyed the confidence and
respect of all who knew him.  He passed
away suddenly, but it was the ending of a
life that leaves ground for hope that he has
gone to the rest that remains to the people of
God.
