August 30, 1877 - The Observer [Raleigh NC]
Died. McGIRT.-At her residence, in Thompson's township, Robeson county, July 11th, 
Mrs. Susan McGirt, in the 75th year of her age. 

[Death of Susanna McLean McGirt, wife/widow of Archibald McGirt II, son of 
Archibald McGirt and Mary Elizabeth Donnelly.  She is buried in the McGirt 
Cemetery in Alfordsville, Robeson County NC and her gravestone states she was born 
5 Mar 1803 and died 11 Jul 1877.  The proof of her marriage to Archibald McGirt II 
is found in the will of her father, Archibald McLean.]
