DIED,

   At his residence in Robeson county, on the 15th inst., DUNCAN McGUGAN, Sen. He 
was a member of the Baptist Church thirty odd years.  He was an affectionate 
husband, a kind father and an indulgent master. He was kind in all the relations 
of life.
