C. McIver, late train dispatcher of the C. F. & Y. V. Railroad, died at his father’s home near Sanford on last Friday night and was buried at Buffalo church the following Sunday by the Knights of Pythias of Greensboro. Mr. McIver had been in declining health for more than a year. He was only twenty-four years of age and his untimely death was a shock to his host of friends along the road. Mr. J. W. Monroe, our efficient and popular young station agent, attended the funeral and says a large concourse of people were present.
