Mr. H. Q. McLean Succumbs to
   Stroke of Paralysis.
 
   Mr. H. Q. McLean aged 52 years,
died at his home about two miles
from town on the Fayetteville road
Friday morning at 5:30.  Mr. Mc-
Lean was in his usual health up to
midnight Thursday night, when he
was stricken with paralysis.  De-
ceased is survived by his wife and
four children.  The funeral was con-
ducted Saturday morning at ten
o’clock by Rev. W. R. Davis, pas-
tor of deceased, and interment was
made in the family burying ground
near Allenton.
   Mr. McLean was a member of An-
tioch Baptist church, and in his death
the church loses one of its most loy-
al members and Robeson loses a val-
ued citizen.
