Duncan McLellan quietly and peacefully fell on sleep at his home near Bethesda church, Barnesville, July 28. He was born near Rowland in 1852 and spent nearly all of his life in that community. Bro. McLellan was twice married. His first wife was Miss Hannah Wingate. In 1887 he married Miss Julia Willis, and she with 12 children, two by first wife, are living. In these few dates and facts there is woven a life that was a quiet, good man. His neighbor and friends speak in no uncertain terms of his piety. always a close Bible student he knew the Scriptures, which were able to make him wise unto salvation. In early manhood he was soundly converted and joined the Methodist church and remained a true member until death. An invalid and patient sufferer has gone home. May the Lord bless the bereaved loved ones. B. E. STANFIELD.
