Miss Margaret A. Mercer Passed
   Away This Morning – Funeral
   Tuesday at 9 a. m. in Howellsville
   Township.
 
   Miss Margaret A. Mercer died this
morning at 9 o’clock at the home of
her nephew, Mr. J. W. Barker, on
Cedar street, with whom she had
lived for some time.  The funeral will
take place tomorrow morning at 9
o’clock and the remains will be in-
terred in the family burying ground
on Mr. Barker’s place in Howellsville
township.  Deceased was about 78
years old.  Two brothers survive,
Rev. M. V. Mercer of Howellsville
and Mr. Wm. A.Mercer of Georgia. 
She had not been well for two years
and last February she fell and broke
an arm.  Since then she had not been
able to get about, but the immediate
cause of her death was blood poison.
