ILA POWERS MONROE

FAYETTEVILLE – Funeral services for Mrs. Ila Powers Monroe, 85, who died 
Sunday, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Jernigan Warren chapel, with 
the Rev. Thomas E. Loftis officiating.  Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial 
Park.

She is survived by a son Earl Monroe, Wyandotte, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. 
Hazel Owens and Mrs. Ruby Sawyer, both of Fayetteville; a brother, Clarence 
Powers of Lumberton; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren
