Friday, April 9, 1971

Funeral for Mrs. Strawdie Moore, 55, who died at her Route 4 home April 4, will
be conducted Sunday 2 p.m. in Holy Swamp Baptist church by the Rev. Grady McRae.
Burial will be in Aaron Swamp cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Julian Moore; her sons, Fred, James and Robert
Moore of Lumberton; her daughters, Mrs. Marie Carmichael, Mrs. Millie Mitchell
and Mrs. Jeannette Smith of Lumberton; her sisters, Mrs. Margie Atkinson and
Miss Maudie Moore of Fairmont and Mrs. Bessie McRae of Winston-Salem; her
brothers, Buster and Lee Thompson of Fairmont; 37 grandchildren and 18
great-grandchildren.
