Death of Mr. Cyrus Musselwhite.

News was received here last week of the sad death of Mr. Cyrus Musselwhite, 
which occurred near Baxley, Georgia, some days ago. He is a son of Mr. Jake 
Musselwhite, whose home formerly is this County, has been living in Baxley, 
Georgia, for several years. 

Mr. Cyrus Musselwhite, who has been residing in Florida was moving by private 
conveyance to his father’s home in Baxley, Ga. While nearing the town of 
Baxley, with the last load of furniture, and his family with him, he lost his 
balance while trying to keep a piece of furniture from falling, and fell, under 
the feet of one of the mules, which kicked him severely on the head, and 
starting on a run draged both wheels of the wagon over his body. The wagon 
containing his wife and children was carried for two miles at a rapid rate by 
the frightened mules. When assistance reached him, Mr. Musselwhite was dead.
