She was born on July 7, 1906, the eldest daughter of the late Hardy and Ellen Smith Musselwhite. She was graduated from Lumberton High School, attended Flora MacDonald College and taught school in Robeson and Davidson Counties. Miss Musselwhite was employed in the office of Dr. W. Carey Hedgpeth for about 25 years, retiring in 1964 because of ill health. She had been confined to her home for much of the past ten years. She was a member of Chestnut Street United Methodist Church and a former member of the Lumberton Business and Professional Women’s Club. The funeral will be held at Chestnut Street Church Tuesday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. C.A. Simonton Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Phil Walker of Brunswick, Ga., Mrs. Vance Ausband of Albemarle and Mrs. T.V.
