Floyd Mortuary, Inc., Lumberton, NC
Geraldine Baxley Nealy, age 74, of Lumberton, NC died on Monday, May
30, 2016 at Carolina's Hospital in Florence, SC.  She was born in
Robeson County, NC on January 26, 1942 to the late Ernest and Pearl
Cook Baxley.  She previously worked as a realtor.  She was an active
member of East Lumberton Baptist Church where she played the piano and
organ for sixty years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Marlene Miller.

Mrs. Nealy is survived by her husband, Ronald Nealy of the home; a
son, Ronald (Ronnie) Nealy, Jr. of Lumberton; sister, Ernestine Layton
and husband, George of Aberdeen; grandchildren, J.R. Nealy and wife,
Lauren of Wilmington, Elise Nealy of Nashville, TN, and Bradley Nealy
of Cary; and a number of family and friends.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from
2:00-3:00 PM at East Lumberton Baptist Church prior to the service.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 3:00 PM at East Lumberton
Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Bowen and Rev. Roger Worley
officiating.  Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery.
