Rites Are Held At Raft Swamp For A. W. Norton

   Funeral rites for W. A. Norton, 70, who died of diabetes Monday at the 
Robeson county home, were conducted from Raft Swamp Baptist church Tuesday 
afternoon by Rev. E. A. Paul, and interment was made in the church cemetery.

   Prior to about 4 years ago, when he went to the county home, Mr. Norton had 
been living at the home of his son-in-law, Garland Hewett, in the Raft Swamp 
section.  He is survived by his widow and several children.
